PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a global leader in HVAC manufacturing to hire a Supply Chain Management Specialist who will play a critical role in bringing next‑generation products—especially data center solutions—from concept to production. This role sits at the intersection of sourcing, engineering, and manufacturing, ensuring supply chain strategies are seamlessly aligned with product design, cost targets, and launch timelines.
YourImpact & Day-to-Day Responsibilities
In this highly visible role, you’ll manage both strategic and tactical sourcing activities that directly support new product development and launch:
- Integrate global and regional category sourcing strategies with program and platform deliverables
- Partner closely with engineering teams to ensure product designs align with sourcing strategies during concept and engineering sample phases
- Prepare and process RFQs, requisitions, and purchase orders to support prototype and pilot builds
- Project manage supplier activities for assigned commodities, ensuring program passport deliverables are met
- Represent the supply chain function on cross‑functional program teams, delivering milestones on schedule and product cost at target
- Lead the smooth transition of sourcing and procurement activities to factory Purchasing and Materials teams
- Develop inventory stocking and logistics strategies for suppliers with extended lead times
- Execute and support cost‑reduction initiatives and sourcing projects
- Collaborate with category teams to identify and qualify regional and alternate suppliers to strengthen supply chain resiliency
- Provide periodic leadership updates on supply chain deliverables and program status
- Bachelor’s degree
- 7+ years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or operations within an industrial manufacturing environment
- Proven experience managing sourcing and procurement activities for new product development
- Experience in the HVAC manufacturing industry
- Working knowledge of MRP systems, inventory management, factory assembly processes, and bills of material
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills, including management‑level presentations
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced, program‑driven environment
- Technical understanding of commercial HVAC products—or the ability to learn quickly
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, follow‑up, and follow‑through
- Advanced quantitative and spreadsheet analysis skills
- Energetic, success‑driven mindset with a collaborative approach

Pay Details: $40.00 to $75.56 per hour
