QualificationsRequired:
- Bachelor’s degree in geology, hydrogeology, engineering, environmental science, or related discipline (Master’s a plus).
- GPA of 3.0 or higher or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years of relevant experience.
- Willingness to perform field work (standing/walking full days).
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to Health & Safety protocols.
- Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Valid driver’s license and/or ability to operate a company vehicle due to frequent travel.
- Ability to lift at least 40 pounds.
- Position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
Preferred:
- 40‑hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification.
- GIT or EIT certification.
- Experience with technical data recording and report writing.
- Local candidates preferred; regional candidates considered.
- Conduct field investigations: soil, sediment, groundwater, surface water, soil vapor, and indoor air sampling.
- Oversee drilling, soil logging, and installation of monitoring wells.
- Perform aquifer testing, well development, and remedial system operations.
- Assist with groundwater and wastewater system performance monitoring.
- Support Phase I and II environmental assessments for property transactions.
- Compile and analyze data; assist in preparing technical reports.
- Prepare compliance work plans, permits, and reports for air quality, hazardous waste, stormwater, and wastewater.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
- Communicate effectively with subcontractors, regulators, tenants, and clients during field activities.
