Industry leader seeking a Lean Manufacturing Engineer to manage large-scale, cross-functional Operational Excellence projects across multiple locations.
The Right Fit Should Have:- Minimum 5yrs of manufacturing lean/operations experience
- Ability to travel approximately 30%, up to 50% based on business needs (home weekends)
- Bachelor's of Engineering & LSSGB/BB highly preferred. Bonus points for PMP cert!
- Experience in automated & manual production environments
- Ability to maintain a daily presence on the shop floor, engaging with operations and executive leaders
- Lead large scale lean projects and teams from initiation to final execution
- Act as a liaison between teams, management, and other functional areas, developing countermeasures for missed milestones to return to original timeline
- Develop project plans to include budget, timing, resourcing, and scope
- Report weekly on lean project status
- Foster a culture of mentoring to develop employees & enhance operational excellence
