We’re looking for a Power Systems Protection & Control Engineer to design, program, test, commission, and support advanced protection and automation systems for transmission, distribution, and renewable generation projects. This role combines engineering design with hands‑on field support, relay testing, troubleshooting, and direct client interaction.

In

this role, you’ll work on:
  • Relay panel design, wiring schematics, and programming
  • Protective relay settings, coordination, and system-wide studies
  • Arc flash analysis, interconnection studies, and distributed generation protection
  • Field commissioning, troubleshooting, and technical support for protection and control systems
  • SCADA and HMI/Master Station development
What you bring:
  • Hands‑on experience with substation automation, protective relays, relay testing, and SEL technologies, including RTAC programming, SynchroWAVe, SIGNTCC, AcSELerator software tools, and related protection and automation platforms
  • Experience performing relay testing, commissioning, validation, and troubleshooting of protection and control systems using Omicron, Doble, or equivalent test equipment
  • Strong knowledge of IEC‑61850, system modeling, and power system protection schemes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders
  • Proven field support and troubleshooting experience in substation and power system environments
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and take ownership of projects from design through commissioning
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and collaborative skills
  • Work on challenging, high-impact transmission, distribution, generation, and renewable energy projects
