Responsibilities
We require Junior Field Technicians to support a major real estate and network relocation project on site in Charlotte, North Carolina. Main responsibilities will include assisting the Senior Network Engineers in the design, planning, integration, migration and decommissioning of the following layers:
- Outside Plant & Fibre
- Inside Plant & Racks, Cabling, etc¿
- DWDM
- SDH
- IP
- DCN
- Critical Infrastructure (Space, Power, Cooling)
The role also requires utilizing bespoke inventory systems, applying a methodical and logical approach to data analysis and manipulation, and traveling as needed.
We are looking for individuals with enthusiasm, motivation, and a willingness to learn and take on responsibility. This is an opportunity to gain industry experience with the potential for a long‑term role.
Qualifications- Degree or MSc qualified in an Engineering Subject
- Knowledge of telecommunication principles
- Conversant with Microsoft Office
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- IP principles and networks experience desirable
- Advanced Excel or Access skills
- AC/DC power experience desirable
- Practical/hands‑on experience with telecommunication equipment (routers, switches, etc¿)
