Land Survey Opportunities - Charlotte, NC | Nashville, TN | Chattanooga, TN

I'm currently working with a growing, survey-focused firm that is actively expanding across Charlotte, North Carolina, Nashville, Tennessee, and Chattanooga, Tennessee
. Due to continued growth and a strong backlog of work, they are looking to add talented surveying professionals at all levels to their team.

Whether you're a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS), Survey Manager, Project Surveyor, Crew Chief, Survey Technician, CAD Technician, or Instrument Operator

These positions may be responsible for:
  • Performing boundary, ALTA/NSPS, topographic, and construction surveys
  • Managing survey projects from proposal through final deliverables
  • Leading and coordinating field crews and office staff
  • Preparing and reviewing plats, maps, legal descriptions, and survey exhibits
  • Processing field data and developing survey deliverables using CAD software
  • Conducting deed research and boundary analysis
  • Providing QA/QC oversight for survey projects
  • Collaborating with engineers, developers, municipalities, and clients
  • Supporting business development and client relationship efforts
  • Mentoring junior staff and contributing to team growth
Qualified candidates should possess some of the following:
  • Experience in land surveying, geomatics, or a related field
  • Knowledge of boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and construction surveying
  • Experience with GPS, robotic total stations, and survey data collection software
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar survey drafting platforms
  • Professional Land Surveyor (PLS/RLS) licensure preferred for senior‑level positions
  • Previous leadership or project management experience for management‑level opportunities
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in both field and office environments
