Senior Air Quality Professional
Position available in Charlotte, North Carolina;
Raleigh, North Carolina;
Atlanta, Georgia.
- Preparation of emission inventories
- Permit application development
- Regulatory review
- Compliance recordkeeping
- Greenhouse gas reporting
- Multi‑media environmental compliance support (stormwater permitting, SPCC plan development, waste management support, compliance auditing, industrial hygiene support)
- Site assessment and groundwater remediation support
- Client and regulatory agency communication
- Emission calculations
- Minor source permitting
- Proficiency with air emissions software (e.g., E&P Tanks and GRI Gly Calc)
- Air quality regulations applicability determinations
- Expertise with environmental regulatory requirements in the southeastern United States
- Project Management
- Air dispersion modeling
- Major source and Title V permitting
- Experience in the mining sector (air compliance for mining operations)
- Project or client management
- Professional Engineering certification, Certified Hazardous Materials Manager, or other professional certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Environmental, or related field
- 10+ years of Air Quality compliance experience
- Strong communication skills with clients and public
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience writing and communicating technical material
- Some travel may be required
