About This RoleAs a Senior Mechanical Systems Engineer, you will be a key member of our dynamic engineering team dedicated to developing advanced cooling solutions for data center customers. You will leverage your expertise in mechanical systems design to optimize chiller system layout, structural design, and manufacturability while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to meet and exceed customer expectations and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Support design, development, and implementation of water‑cooled chiller systems tailored for large‑scale data center applications.
- Perform thermal and hydraulic analysis to ensure optimal system performance, reliability, and energy efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (product management, engineering, manufacturing) to define project requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
- Work with project leads, designers, and cross‑functional teams to implement designs into production.
- Lead DFMEAs, ASME pressure vessel code implementation, root cause analysis, and production issue resolution.
- Support product testing and validation activities, analyze test results, and implement design improvements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to mechanical cooling systems and data center operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with at least 5 years of experience in mechanical systems design.
- Master’s degree in Engineering with at least 2 years of experience in mechanical systems design.
- PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
- Hands‑on experience with design tools such as Solid Works or CREO Parametric.
- Experience in chiller or HVAC system design.
- Experience with product development processes from concept design to production release.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail with a track record of delivering high‑quality results on schedule.
- Proficient English communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset and passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
The annual salary for this position ranges from $79,000.00 to $. Factors that may affect pay within this range include skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
Other CompensationThis position may be entitled to short‑term cash incentives subject to plan requirements.
