As an Electrical Project Engineer, you'll play an active role in designing and delivering electrical systems for a variety of building projects.
- Design and develop power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems
- Create and modify designs using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
- Collaborate with project engineers, managers, and senior staff to deliver high-quality solutions
- Coordinate with other trades to ensure fully integrated building systems
- Apply building codes, industry standards, and best practices
- Contribute to project design, engineering analysis, and documentation
- Support project deliverables using tools like Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and engineering software
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering
- 1–5 years of experience (or strong internship/co-op experience for recent grads)
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Familiarity with building electrical systems (power, lighting, or low-voltage)
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- A collaborative mindset and ability to thrive in a team-driven environment
- Motivation to learn, grow, and take on increasing responsibility
- EIT certification or on the path to licensure (PE a plus)
- Experience with AGi
32 (lighting) or SKM (power systems) - Certifications such as LC, RCDD, LEED AP, or WELL AP
- Interest in sustainable and high-performance building design

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $58.00/hr.
