As a Mechanical Designer / Project Engineer, you'll play a key role in bringing building systems to life—from initial concepts to final deliverables.

• Design and model HVAC and building mechanical systems using Revit and AutoCAD
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other disciplines to deliver coordinated designs
• Produce high-quality construction documents, drawings, and specifications
• Apply building and energy codes to ensure compliant, efficient system design
• Coordinate with other trades to create integrated, constructible solutions
• Contribute to problem-solving, system optimization, and engineering decisions
• Support project documentation using Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and engineering tools
• Communicate clearly with project teams and stakeholders

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering
• 1–5 years of experience (or strong internship/co-op experience for recent grads)
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
• Familiarity with HVAC system design and building mechanical systems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
• A proactive mindset and desire to continuously learn and grow

• EIT certification or working toward licensure (PE a plus)
• LEED AP, WELL AP, or sustainable design interest
• Experience with Bluebeam Revu and engineering analysis tools

This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $58.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
