Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking to lead the design of complex healthcare, mission-critical, and advanced facility projects?
Our client is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with RCDD certification to play a key role in the design and delivery of sophisticated electrical and low-voltage systems for some of the most technically demanding projects in the industry.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong engineer who enjoys taking ownership of projects, collaborating across disciplines, mentoring junior staff, and delivering innovative building system solutions from concept through construction.
What You’ll Do- Lead electrical engineering design for healthcare, mission‑critical, institutional, and commercial facilities
- Design power distribution, emergency power, generator, UPS, lighting, and transfer switch systems
- Develop integrated ICT, communications, and low‑voltage infrastructure solutions
- Perform short‑circuit, coordination, and arc‑flash studies
- Prepare engineering calculations, specifications, construction documents, and technical reports
- Coordinate closely with architects, mechanical engineers, owners, and construction teams
- Support project planning, design reviews, and construction administration activities
- Mentor and develop junior engineering staff
- Help drive technical excellence and quality across project teams
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- RCDD certification required
- 6+ years of electrical design experience within an MEP consulting engineering environment
- Strong knowledge of power distribution, emergency power systems, and low‑voltage infrastructure
- Experience designing systems for healthcare, mission‑critical, laboratory, or other complex facilities preferred
- Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office
- Experience with SKM, ETAP, or similar power system analysis software is a plus
- LEED, CEM, LC, or NCEES Record credentials are beneficial
