What You'll Do
As an Electrical Project Engineer, you'll help deliver high-quality electrical designs for a variety of commercial, institutional, and complex building projects.
Key Responsibilities
+ Design power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems for new construction and renovation projects
+ Develop construction documents using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
+ Perform engineering calculations, analyses, and system evaluations
+ Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, structural, and architectural teams to ensure fully integrated building designs
+ Apply applicable electrical codes, industry standards, and engineering best practices
+ Support project planning, design reviews, specifications, and technical documentation
+ Participate in project meetings, construction coordination, and field observations
+ Assist with project delivery using tools such as Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and engineering software platforms
+ Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions on schedule
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
+ 1-5 years of engineering experience, or relevant internship/co-op experience for recent graduates
+ Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD
+ Knowledge of building electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems
+ Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving abilities
+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills
+ Desire to learn, grow, and take on increasing project responsibility
+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Preferred Qualifications
+ Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or active pursuit of licensure
+
Experience with AGi
32, SKM, or similar electrical design and analysis software
+ Professional credentials such as PE, LC, RCDD, LEED AP, or WELL AP
+ Interest in energy-efficient, sustainable, and high-performance building design
