Project Management Specialist
AECOM is seeking a driven and experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of large-scale infrastructure and capital programs. This role is ideal for a mid-to-senior-level professional with strong financial acumen, stakeholder management expertise, and experience operating within complex, regulated environments.
Responsibilities- Lead multidisciplinary teams and manage projects from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with client objectives, compliance requirements, and AECOM’s standards of excellence.
- Manage the full lifecycle of infrastructure and capital projects, from initiation through delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget objectives are achieved.
- Oversee project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and client billing.
- Support procurement activities, including preparation and evaluation of tenders and contractor selection.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, coordinating across internal teams, contractors, and external partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with public- and private-sector stakeholders.
- Implement project governance processes and ensure compliance with applicable standards, including ISO 9001 and client-specific requirements.
- Identify and manage project risks, ensuring mitigation strategies are in place and communicated effectively.
- Develop and deliver high-quality reports, dashboards, and performance insights for internal leadership and clients.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to support project and program decision-making.
- Contribute to business case development, planning activities, and early-stage project strategy.
- Support alignment of projects with broader program goals, funding requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
- Minimum:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field plus six years of experience or equivalent. - Preferred:
Experience in regulated or public-sector environments. - Familiarity with large-scale infrastructure programs (transportation, water, data centers, industrial, or federal projects).
- Experience managing multi-million-dollar projects or portfolios.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification.
- Experience with AECOM systems and processes.
- Strong financial management and forecasting capabilities.
- Expertise in project controls, governance, and risk management.
- Experience with tools such as Primavera P6, Procore, Oracle, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in reporting tools such as Power BI and dashboard development.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for executive-level audiences.

Senior Civil Engineer – RemediationAECOM is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Remediation team. The successful candidate will work with a diverse team of technical leaders across a broad range of practice areas delivering professional consulting services to our key clients.
Responsibilities- Serve as technical advisor for the team.
- Provide specialized technical input to studies and designs for staff’s specific area of expertise.
- Develop study and design procedures to facilitate high quality, cost‑effective work by others.
- Participate in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
- Develop construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
- Use expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package.
- Perform quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
- Prepare technical specification sections.
- Provide input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.
- Minimum: BA/BS in Civil Engineering or related field + 6 years of related experience or equivalent.
- Experience with Coal Combustion Residuals (CCR).
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License; must pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records Review.
- Preferred:
Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field. - 7+ years of relevant experience at an engineering consulting firm.
