Job Description

  • Management of daily field testing/inspection activities performed by technicians and/or inspector assigned to your project.
  • Scheduling/assigning field staff to various projects based on the project’s needs and the field staff capabilities.
  • Review of daily field reports and test data for accuracy, as well as preparation of monthly summary reports
  • Management of project budgets.
  • Communication with contractors and owners concerning our testing & inspection services, including distribution of reports and test data are distributed to the project teams in a timely manner.
  • You will have the opportunity to attend monthly and preconstruction meetings with owners, architects, engineers, and contractors.
  • Do you enjoy spending time outside and being hands on? You will be needed to perform inspections and testing at project sites as necessary/qualified.
  • Get social. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining contact with our great clients and networking to develop new ones.
Qualifications
  • Five years or greater of progressive engineering and/or testing/inspection experience required for those holding a Bachelor degree in engineering or related field of study.(strongly preferred); or
    • Seven years or greater of progressive engineering and/or testing/inspection experience required for those holding an Associate degree in engineering or related field of study; or
    • Twelve years or greater of progressive engineering and/or testing/inspection experience (no degree); or
  • NCDOT and American Concrete Institute (ACI) Field Technician Level I certification required.
