POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled Vibration Analyst - Instructor to teach dynamic Vibration Analysis Seminars with a heavy concentration on Predictive Maintenance (PdM). Beyond classroom instruction, this multifaceted role provides the opportunity to perform remote Vibration
Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, and other Consulting Engineering duties as needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Instruction & Training:
Receive extensive internal training to confidently instructmoderate-sized, 3-day ISO Category I and Category II seminars within your first year, with the opportunity to progress to teaching higher certification levels over time. - Professional Development:
Gain the opportunity to receive advanced training to potentially instruct specialized Asset Lubrication Technician, Practical Field Balancing, and Time Waveform Analysis seminars. - Travel & Delivery:
Travel approximately 50% of the time to conduct training seminars. Classes are delivered both publicly across 12 cities nationwide and on-site directly at client facilities. - Content Development:
Assist in the preparation and continuous improvement of seminar materials, including written textbooks, PowerPoint presentations, and online course development. - Industry Insights:
Author and assist in the development of practical case studies and technical white papers. - Technical Support & Consulting:
Provide high-level service-related support, including the mentoring of client analysts or PdM teams, remotely analyzing complex vibration data for current clients, and offering Subject Matter Expert (SME) support.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of practical experience with vibration data collection and analysis using FFT analyzers and PdM software on rotating machinery. - Certification:
Hold a valid ISO Category III vibration certification or possess the technical ability to successfully achieve this certification within 6 months of hire. - Education:
A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field is preferred but not required. A two-year technical degree is fully acceptable if paired with sufficient practical vibration experience and training. - Presentation
Skills:
Prior experience working as an instructor or delivering technical presentations is preferred but not required.
SPECIAL SKILLS & PROFICIENCIES:
- Vibration Analysis:
Proficient with the operation of one or more analyzers measuring vibration spectra and time waveforms. - Software Literacy:
Highly proficient in using standard PC applications, specifically the Microsoft Office Suite. - Interpersonal
Skills:
Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and corporate clients.

TERMS:

This position is also open to candidates looking to work on a contract basis. - Location:
This position is open to candidates anywhere in the United States. Occasional travel to Charlotte, NC is required for team meetings, though most meetings are held remotely through Microsoft Teams.
