You will demonstrate your commissioning skills and, by leveraging the firm’s technology-centric competitive edge, work with design engineers, vendors, contractors, and client personnel to test, make operational, optimize, and validate mechanical systems in multiple 24x7 mission‑critical plants, healthcare, power generation, or similar environments.
Job ResponsibilitiesThis position will involve developing and coordinating functional testing of multi‑stack equipment and multi‑redundant system configurations within a trade. You will review criteria, specifications, drawings, equipment submittals, and other documentation pertinent to commissioning.
Additional Responsibilities- Develop and coordinate Commissioning Plans, consistent with ASHRAE Guideline O format.
- Develop and coordinate functional testing of multi‑stack equipment and multi‑redundant system configurations within a trade.
- Review design criteria, specifications, drawings, equipment submittals, and other documentation pertinent to commissioning and provide a peer review level of feedback.
- Lead commissioning efforts with multiple trades and client management involvement.
- Technical writing ability to create Operating Procedures and Technical instruction material.
- Oversight of 1–2 engineers on projects reporting to them.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent years of experience in commissioning large mechanical systems for industrial, data center, commercial, operations center, high‑rise, and healthcare facilities.
- A minimum of 6 years of field experience in hands‑on testing, validation, and troubleshooting of large mechanical systems.
- 2–8 years of relevant experience in the MEP field.
- Basic understanding of proper system selection.
- Basic understanding of the practical application of LEED principles to building designs.
- Thorough understanding of applicable codes.
- Experience with ASHRAE, BCxA, and/or PECI Cx and RETRO‑Cx procedures and protocols.
- PE or recognized commissioning certification preferred.

Salary Range: $70,091 - $122,216 USD.
