- Provide confident guidance in situations that require interpretation, sound judgment, and clear communication with external stakeholders.
- Relevant education or experience in planning, civil engineering, construction, geography, public administration, development review, or a related field.
- Experience reviewing civil plans, subdivisions, grading, utilities, stormwater, transportation, erosion control, or comparable land-development projects.
- Ability to interpret technical plans, maps, development standards, permitting requirements, and regulatory documentation.
- Experience in municipal development, planning, zoning, engineering support, construction administration, inspections, or a related environment.
- Strong communication, organization, and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and navigate challenging stakeholder conversations.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to obtain applicable job-related certifications as needed.
