Join a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy focused on delivering practical stormwater, drainage, and site infrastructure solutions across both public and private sector projects. The team works across planning, design, and construction phases, with an emphasis on buildable solutions, regulatory compliance, and integrated site development.

This role combines technical leadership, project delivery, and local team oversight. You will play a key role in leading stormwater and drainage design projects, supporting day-to-day team activity, and helping to grow client relationships in the region. The position is suited to someone who enjoys a balance of hands-on delivery and leadership, with the opportunity to shape both project outcomes and local team direction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead stormwater and drainage design projects from concept through construction
  • Prepare and oversee design drawings, calculations, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Review, approve, and take ownership of engineering deliverables
  • Provide oversight and mentorship to junior staff and support team development
  • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and day-to-day client coordination
  • Support construction-phase services, including bid support and contractor interaction
  • Maintain and grow client relationships through reliable project delivery
  • Contribute to new project opportunities and regional growth initiatives
  • Coordinate with clients, local agencies, and regulatory stakeholders
  • Support delivery of both conventional drainage systems and nature-based solutions
Qualifications & Experience
  • Degree in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering discipline
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license (or ability to obtain)
  • 15+ years of experience in stormwater, drainage, or civil/site development projects
  • Strong background in drainage design, grading, and stormwater infrastructure
  • Experience leading projects and supporting junior team members
  • Proficiency with design tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar
  • Familiarity with permitting processes and regulatory coordination
  • Experience working with municipal and/or private development clients
  • Exposure to watershed planning or green infrastructure beneficial
