Manufacturing Systems Engineer – DeltaV (Swing Shift)

wOur client, a leading biopharmaceutical company, is seeking a Manufacturing Systems Engineer – Delta
V to support manufacturing operations and capital projects within a GMP drug substance manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing Emerson DeltaV distributed control systems (DCS) while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, compliant, and efficient manufacturing operations

• sConfigure, maintain, troubleshooting, and optimize Emerson DeltaV DC
  S supporting GMP manufacturing processes
• .Collaborate with Process Engineering, Manufacturing, Validation, and Quality teams to design and implement automation solutions
• .Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), commissioning, qualification (IV/ACO), startup, and system integratio
  n activities
• .Investigate and resolve automation, instrumentation, and process control issues to ensure reliable plant operations
• .Execute and support Change Controls, CAPAs, Deviations, and root cause investigation
  s in compliance with GMP requirements
• .Develop and maintain automation documentation, SOPs, engineering standards, and Data Integrity assessments
• .Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on system reliability, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance
• .Provide day-to-day manufacturing support, including participation in an on-call rotation as needed

• s2+ year
  s of automation engineering experience within a GMP pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing environmen
  t
• .Hands-on experience configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting Emerson DeltaV DC
  S throughout the system lifecycle
• .Experience supporting commissioning, qualification, startup, and ongoing manufacturing operation
  s
• .Working knowledge of GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11, ASTM E2500, ISA-88, ISA-95
  , and Computerized Systems Validation (CSV
  )
• .Familiarity with industrial communication protocols, including OPC, Foundation Fieldbus, and Profibu
  s
• .Strong understanding of process automation, instrumentation, and regulated manufacturing environments
• .Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
