- provide Electrical Engineering support to approximately 70 plants throughout the Division
- work on large- and small-scale initiatives with minimal direct supervisor oversight
- act as an Electrical Engineer supporting Capital projects through design and implementation
- work necessary hours to complete objectives which may include weekends, extended hours, and travel away from home 20-30% of the time
- collaborate closely with Plant Managers, Plant Maintenance Managers, and Capital Project Engineering teams to provide engineering solutions and support
- a BS degree in Electrical Engineering
- a Professional Engineering Certification in Electrical Engineering
- 7-10 years of electrical power distribution experience including power system troubleshooting and design
- advanced computer skills (word, spreadsheets, CAD, project management software, etc.)
- solid understanding of Arc Flash requirements for industrial applications
- solid knowledge of the NEC
- experience working with industrial electrical distribution from 5kVAC to 120
VAC, motor controls, plant lighting, and coordinated drive controls - able to assist mills in electrical troubleshooting when required
- prior Project Management experience
Demonstrates expertise in Electrical Engineering with a focus on power distribution, troubleshooting, and design. Proficient in collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver engineering solutions for capital projects in industrial settings.
