.

As a Field Engineer, you ll gain hands‑on experience supporting critical construction operations in both the field and office. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced industry professionals, solve real‑world challenges, and contribute to projects that improve communities and transportation networks for generations to come.

What You ll Do

As a Field Engineer, you will support project teams by helping ensure work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans and specifications.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing both office and field responsibilities to support project requirements, including implementation of scheduled work and tracking project data.
  • Assisting with project scheduling and planning activities.
  • Preparing cost and time estimates to help meet project budgets and deadlines.
  • Performing quantity take-offs.
  • Preparing and managing submittals.
  • Assisting with surveying and layout activities.
  • Tracking job quantities, production rates, and project costs.
  • Identifying discrepancies between design plans and field conditions and communicating solutions.
  • Coordinating with third‑party utility providers to ensure utilities are properly identified and located before construction activities begin.
  • Supporting project teams with additional duties as assigned.
Field Engineer Development Program (FEDP)

What We re Looking For

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field

  • Ability to work effectively in both field and office environments
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Eagerness to learn and develop within the heavy civil construction industry
