TLC Engineering Solutions seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical building systems design for complex projects in healthcare, education, commercial, hospitality, and government markets. In this role, you will develop HVAC and plumbing systems, perform load calculations, and create coordinated designs using Revit and related tools. You will collaborate closely with MEP, structural, technology, and energy teams to deliver high-performance, sustainable solutions, while mentoring junior staff and supporting client-facing coordination in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design for complex building projects across healthcare, education, commercial, hospitality, and government markets
- Develop HVAC, plumbing, and building systems using applicable codes and sustainability standards
- Coordinate with MEP, structural, technology, and energy teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and system layouts using engineering software
- Review drawings and specifications, ensure quality control, and support construction administration
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical standards and best practices
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to align design with project goals and budgets
- Support energy-efficient and sustainable design strategies, including high-performance building solutions
