Commissioning Technician

ABM, a pioneer in comprehensive facility solutions, is seeking an experienced Commissioning Technician to join our dynamic Engineering & Maintenance team in the Energy Utilities sector. This pivotal role focuses on the safety and efficiency of equipment and systems throughout various client facilities. The ideal candidate will be integral in ensuring all installations are designed, installed, tested, and operational according to our customers' stringent standards and needs, reflecting ABM's commitment to excellence in all facets of facility operations.

Responsibilities

• Review and understand project specifications and drawings.
• Conduct tests on systems and equipment for proper operation and adherence to specifications and safety standards.
• Evaluate system performance and make recommendations for energy efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers during the design, installation, and testing phases.
• Prepare and maintain detailed reports on all testing and commissioning activities.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards in the energy/utilities industry.

Required Skills
