We're partnering with a leading manufacturer seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead process improvement, automation, and engineering initiatives. This leader will drive operational excellence, support product launches, and standardize manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead manufacturing and process engineering teams
- Drive continuous improvement, Lean, and automation initiatives
- Support new product introductions and manufacturing readiness
- Improve production efficiency, quality, capacity, and throughput
- Partner with operations, quality, maintenance, and supply chain leadership
- Develop standardized processes, best practices, and engineering metrics
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- 8+ years of manufacturing/process engineering experience
- 5+ years in engineering leadership
- Experience in complex manufacturing environments
- Experience with ISO 9001 + IATF
- Strong background in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimization
- Exposure to automation, robotics, and advanced manufacturing technologies preferred
- Ability to travel 30% across NC sites
- Lead strategic initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites
- Drive meaningful operational and engineering improvements
- Influence automation, technology, and growth investments
- High-visibility role with executive leadership exposure
