About the Role
This position plays a key role in planning, developing, and maintaining integrated project schedules that keep Energy Solutions work on track. As part of the Project Controls organization, you will support project teams with schedule development, progress measurement, baseline control, and risk-informed forecasting.
Working closely with project managers, cost analysts, and vendor partners, you will collect and report schedule data, maintain alignment with the Work Breakdown Structure, and help leadership understand progress, critical path, and emerging schedule risk.
Key Responsibilities- Support project teams with planning and scheduling, progress management, and risk management, including collection, input, and reporting of schedule data.
- Develop, maintain, and update integrated project schedules, including time-phasing of the project baseline, progress and performance curves, resource assessment, critical path analysis, and resource leveling.
- Monitor schedule status and forecasts, conduct productivity analysis to identify adverse trends, and work with project leadership to define mitigations using Energy Solutions standard risk tools.
- Coordinate vendor and subcontractor schedules with the master project schedule and ensure schedule data remains consistent across systems, including what-if scenarios and workarounds.
- Support development and maintenance of the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), scheduling work instructions, and alignment with the approved project coding structure.
- Control and implement Performance Measurement Baseline changes driven by Baseline Change Proposals, and support proposal development related to scheduling, scope, and Basis of Estimates.
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in project scheduling, project controls, or a related field.
- Primavera P6 proficiency required; MS Project and Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC) experience a plus.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Effective organizational, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to support estimate and proposal development as required.
- Collaborative and adaptable, with the ability to work under general supervision, promote a team atmosphere, and lead or direct the work of others as assigned.
