Thisisanoutstandingopportunitytojoinourgrowingteam,wherethesuccessfulcandidatewillworkwithagroupofspecialistsinvolvedinprojectmanagement,commissioningandqualification,of equipment,systemsandfacilities.

Thisisanoutstandingopportunitytojoinourgrowingteam,wherethesuccessfulcandidatewillworkwithagroupofspecialistsinvolvedinthedesign,commissioning&qualification,start-upandprojectmanagementofvariousprocesses,systemsandfacilities.

Theworkwillrequireworkingoutofclient’sfacilities.

Raleigh,North Carolina.

• Workaspartofourcustomer’sin-houseengineeringteam,asanelectricalsystemsengineertosupportourcustomerwithreviewingdocumentdesigns/submittalsfromA/Efirms,vendorshopdrawings/specs/submittals,constructionsubmittalstoensureowner’srequirementsaremet.
• Overseeelectricalprojectsendtoend(fromstarttocompletion;i.e.design,procurement,construction,commissioning/startup,documentation support/close-out).
• Providetechnicalguidanceintothedesign,project management,commissioningandvalidation,andstart-upofvariouselectricalequipmentandsystems.
• Reviewtechnicaldatasheetsanddrawingsforvariousequipment,instrumentation,andsystemswithavarietyofvoltages(Low Voltage,andMediumVoltagesystems)
• Performfieldjobwalks,toreviewtheprogress/correctnessoffieldactivities
• Participateincommissioning&startupofelectricalsystems.
• Providetechnicalengineeringguidancetojuniorengineers.
• Coordinationwithotherengineeringdisciplinesandothercross-functional departments(automationengineering,facilitiesengineering,process engineering,validation,project management,operations,quality,safety).
• Coordinatemeetingswithcross-functional departments,todriveprojectprogress,facilitatedecisions,andprovideupdates.
• Engageotherdepartments,as required,intodesignreviewsanddecisions.
• Prepare,review,executecommissioningprotocols,and reports.
• Workmayrequireoccasionalsupportovershutdownsorextendedhours,specificallyduringinstallationandcommissioning/validationphases.
• Theworkwillrequireworkingoutofclients’facilities.
• Asthispositionrequiresworkingonclientsites,youwillneedtocomplywiththeclient’ssafetyrules.
• Visitconstructionandinstallationsites,wearnecessarysafetyPPE.
• Supervisecontractorsduringcriticalinstallationsofprocessequipmentandassociatedutilities.
• Otherdutiesassignedbyclient,and/orMMR,basedonworkloadandprojectrequirements.

• 6-8+yearsofexperienceinelectricalengineeringandelectricalconstruction.
  
  Willconsidercandidateswithmoreexperienceaswellfora Senior/SMERole.
• Knowledge of Low,andMedium
  
  Voltagesystems(upto
  10kV,anythingover
  10k Visanassetbutnotrequired).
• Experiencewiththefollowingelectricalequipmentandsystems:

Switchgear

Switchboards

Lighting controls

UPS (uninterruptible power supply) systems

• Possessleadershipskills,andabletotakeinitiativetoleadprojects,involvingmultiplestakeholders,departments,andvaryingcomplexity.
