Data Center Engineer

Our client, a leader in critical infrastructure and data center solutions, is seeking a dedicated Data Center Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Data Center Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Infrastructure Development Department supporting various engineering initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, proactive communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will enable you to thrive within the organization.

* ** What's the Job?*
* + Contribute immediately to infrastructure planning, expansion, and modernization projects with minimal ramp-up time.

+ Design and implement electrical power distribution systems, including generator, UPS, switch gear, and utility infrastructure engineering.

+ Develop cooling plant and mechanical infrastructure designs to support data center operations.

+ Engage in capacity planning, infrastructure modeling, and resiliency engineering to ensure high availability.

+ Lead commissioning activities, including testing and validation of mechanical, electrical, and fire suppression systems.

** What's Needed?*
* + Typically 5+ years of experience in Data Center, Critical Systems, or related infrastructure engineering disciplines.

+ Proven experience supporting data center engineering, construction, upgrades, or integration activities within large or multisite environments.

+ Strong knowledge of risk assessment, availability concepts, and resiliency planning for critical infrastructure.

+ Familiarity with data center technologies, monitoring tools, and infrastructure management systems (e.g., power, cooling, telemetry, DCIM).

+ Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
