- Create, modify, and troubleshoot robotic programs using ABB or Fanuc controls, including offline programming to support production and development activities.
- Provide hands‑on technical support to coating operators and production teams by resolving process, equipment, and quality challenges on the shop floor.
- Lead continuous improvement and advanced manufacturing initiatives focused on process capability, productivity, quality, and cost reduction.
- Design, adapt, and procure tooling, fixtures, and equipment required for thermal spray manufacturing operations.
- Develop technical work instructions, conduct training, and ensure coating processes are effectively communicated and sustained throughout manufacturing operations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering field.
- 5+ years of experience in thermal spray manufacturing, coatings technology, or a related advanced manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience developing and optimizing APS and/or HVOF coating processes.
- Experience operating, programming, and troubleshooting ABB or Fanuc robotic systems, including offline programming (Robot Studio preferred).
- Knowledge of metallurgical examination methods, coating evaluation practices, and manufacturing quality systems.
