In this position, your primary responsibility will be growing a practice through the execution of investment banking engagements, new business development, and relationship management. How you will contribute:
Managing investment banking transactions - Deal origination and engagement execution for mergers & acquisitions, debt and equity financing, company divestitures, and strategic options analysis engagementsClient/prospect interactions - Developing internal and external relationships to source M&A transactions, prepare and deliver client/prospect presentations, working closely with Forvis Mazars partners/managers and initiatives groups in developing client relationships and marketing strategiesMarketing support - Preparing and implementing business development strategies including, participating in corporate finance-related industry conferences and public speaking opportunities, assisting in developing articles, marketing letters, news releases, and other avenues to generate exposure and build the brandTeam building - Contributing to a high-performing national investment banking practice through active coaching, mentoring, and recruitingWe are looking for people with Forward Vision and:
Significant client interaction and experience, particularly showing the ability to develop strong and influential client relationshipsWillingness and ability to travel when necessaryMinimum Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field, MBA preferredThe FINRA Series 63 and 79 or willingness to pursuePrior experience at a market-leading investment banking firmExperience in industries such as manufacturing & distribution, food & beverage, technology, business services, and healthcareThorough knowledge of sell-side and buy-side representation, debt/equity/distressed restructurings, deal structuring, and capital raisingPrevious success and proven track record in new business development and closing investment banking transactions (book of business contacts)#J-18808-Ljbffr
