A leading Digital Infrastructure focused Middle Market Investment firm who are looking to onboard a Private Equity Associate to join their Telecommunications team in Charlotte / Kansas City!

The fund is brought up by very well known and respected individuals in the industry, and as an Associate you would get the chance to work directly with Senior Investment Executives and Partners at the firm and get access to incomparable deal exposure and visibility.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• 2-4 years of direct experience in Investment Banking / Private Equity with a main focus on TMT, Telecommunications, Digital Infrastructure sector (REQUIRED)
• Exceptional financial modeling & analytical skills
• Desire to live in Charlotte or Kansas City for the long-term

Job brief:

• Assist with both quantitative and qualitative analysis to evaluate potential direct equity investments.
• Support various aspects of the investment process, including sourcing opportunities, driving value creation, monitoring portfolio performance, and contributing to marketing initiatives.
• Contribute to transaction due diligence across key work-streams, including financial, commercial, legal, and tax considerations.
• Develop and maintain financial models for both new and existing investments to support decision-making and forecasting.
• Prepare and deliver investment analysis to internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, investment committees, and other relevant parties.
• Work closely with management and investment teams to evaluate the operational maturity of current and prospective portfolio companies, identifying opportunities for improvement and value enhancement.
