Junior Property Accountant — Charlotte, NC

Redline Property Partners is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Property Accountant to join our growing, entrepreneurial team in Charlotte, N.C.

This is an exciting opportunity for an emerging accounting professional who wants to build a career in commercial real estate while gaining hands‑on exposure to all aspects of property accounting, development, and investment management. You’ll work closely with experienced professionals across our organization, contribute to meaningful projects and develop your technical and professional skill set in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment. This role is based in Charlotte, N.C,

with occasional travel.

What You’ll Do

As a Junior Property Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of our commercial real estate portfolio. You’ll be involved in:

  • Assisting with property‑level accounting, including general ledger, income statement, and balance sheet activities
  • Supporting the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial and investor reports
  • Helping manage invoices, capital expense funding requests, and bank reconciliations
  • Entering and maintaining lease data in Yardi and ensuring accuracy of tenant information
  • Collaborating with property and investment managers on budgets, forecasts, and capital plans
  • Participating in capital improvement billing and tracking
  • Contributing to due diligence efforts for property acquisitions and dispositions

What We’re Looking For

We’re open to candidates early in their careers who are eager to learn and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment. Commercial real estate experience is strongly preferred. Ideal candidates will bring:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration (completed or in progress)
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with financial data
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe
  • A proactive, self‑motivated mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professionalism and confidence in working with tenants, clients, and team members
  • Interest in commercial real estate or private equity is a plus
