We maintain a remote-first approach, but in-person collaboration is essential throughout the year. We host multiple team and company-wide offsites to boost teamwork and alignment, and your participation is both expected and fully supported.

The Compliance team within Customer Experience (CX) is dedicated to providing top-notch support across diverse customer segments. As a Compliance Support Supervisor, you will lead a team of 10-15 Compliance Analysts handling enhanced due diligence (EDD) and transaction monitoring, including the preparation and filing of Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR). Your leadership will foster a culture of ownership and customer focus, ensuring that both individual and team objectives are met while providing exceptional customer service.

• Lead and manage a team of 10-15 Compliance Analysts focusing on Transaction Monitoring, AML, and Fraud Investigations.
• Ensure adherence to operational KPIs and maintain high performance quality.
• Collaborate with senior management to provide insights for process improvements.
• Communicate effectively with your team to enhance individual and group performance.
• Embrace and promote change management within your team.
• Prioritize customer value in your decision-making processes.
• Foster a strong culture of compliance.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in AML compliance.
• Partner with Financial Crimes teams to implement Coinbase's AML program.

• Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 3 years' experience in the Compliance field.
• 2-3 years of supervisory experience.
• Familiarity with financial laws and regulations (e.g., BSA, OFAC, FinCEN guidance).
• Enthusiasm for the future of cryptocurrency and Web

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in using computers and various software and database systems.
• Ability to thrive in uncertain and dynamic environments.

• Compliance Industry certification (e.g., ACAMS).
• Advanced knowledge of Google applications.
• Experience or certifications in Project Management, Scrum, Agile, or Lean processes.
• Familiarity with Coinbase products.

This role requires full-time, in-office presence at our Charlotte location.

Depending on your work location, the target annual base salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full-time offers from Coinbase also include eligibility for bonuses, equity, and benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)).
