Summary

We seek a highly skilled Project Cost Controller with background in Finance, Budgeting and project financial reporting. The ideal candidate manages budgets, compares actuals to original budgets and controls cost to come. A dynamic fast‑paced environment offers challenging tasks and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create initial project forecast from Sales to Contract Execution handover.
  • Perform complex tasks in project estimating, change documentation, and cost control.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly forecast: reconcile budget versus actuals, analyze variances, risks, and opportunity tracking.
  • Report forecast variances to portfolio level, manage changes to cost monthly and quarterly.
  • Analyze and track change requests/variation orders from customers.
  • Assist with sales planning and billings to customers.
  • Manage multiple projects with budgets ranging from $500K to $100MM+.
  • Collaborate with departments to develop budgets/forecasts, review actual performance.
  • Prepare proposal and claim packages.
  • Represent the Project Manager in absence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, Engineering, or Construction Management.
  • Experience in project controls, finance, and budgeting.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting financial data.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in Government Contracting is a plus.
  • Strong computer skills with emphasis on MS Excel (Access, Word, Project, SAP).
