The Virtual Financial Consultant (VFC) partners with participants across higher education and healthcare institutions to deliver personalized retirement planning and financial guidance through virtual interactions (Zoom). This role supports TIAA’s Retirement Solutions business and offers long-term career growth into Wealth Advisory, Retirement Income Consulting, and Asset Management. This is a highly visible, client-facing role focused on helping participants understand where they stand today and how to successfully prepare for retirement.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Provide virtual retirement planning and financial guidance to participants via Zoom and phone
- Conduct approximately 30 client meetings per week supporting retirement readiness, rollovers, and income planning
- Deliver high-quality client experiences aligned with TIAA’s values, culture, and service standards
- Support participants in understanding retirement goals and pathways to successful retirement outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and complete administrative responsibilities related to client engagement
- Collaborate with regional teams supporting participants across assigned geographic territories
- 3+ Years of Financial Services experience
- Series 7 License
- Series 63 License
- Life and Health Insurance License (Resident State)
- Experience in retirement planning, wealth management, or financial consulting
$85,000 annually + bonus opportunity
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
