The FP&A Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) will partner with the Finance Manager to lead headcount planning, forecasting and reporting. In this role, the individual will provide ad hoc corporate FP&A analysis to drive strategic investment and business growth. We are looking for someone who is analytical and proactive. Job Duties
- Assist in continued development and support of weekly, monthly and quarterly management reporting cadence that provides continuous insight into the performance of the business, including trends, variances and risk assessments.
- Contribute to the multi ‑ year, annual and quarterly planning and forecasting processes.
- Reporting and communication of key messages to ensure senior leadership maintains focus on what matters most and has an opportunity to quickly remediate issues.
- Work collaboratively across the Finance organization as a business partner supporting the FP&A organization, strategic finance team and the accounting team providing insight and analysis around the Company's performance, scenario planning and potential outcomes.
- Provide insights and analysis through data mining and interpreting complex data sets to assist with sound decision‑making.
- Financial subject matter expert for workforce / headcount planning.
- Collaborate with manager to identify and improve / automate processes and reporting.
- Review monthly results and explain variances to budget, prior year, prior month, and rolling forecasts.
- Collaborate cross functionally as a business partner to executives and budget owners to understand key drivers of performance and provide insight/recommendations for improvement.
- Partner with HR and Finance to ensure accurate workforce cost modeling.
- Develop and maintain monthly reports for executives and budget owners.
- Own headcount forecasting, budgeting and reporting.
- Monitor and analyze labor trends, attrition and hiring plans to inform executive decisions.
- Build and maintain multi ‑ year headcount models to support strategic initiatives and scenario planning.
- Navigate ambiguity and shifting priorities with speed and precision, delivering high‑quality outputs under pressure.
- Support cross‑functional initiatives such as cost optimization, restructuring and operational efficiency
- Analyze historical data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
- Maintains datasets with highly confidential employee and compensation information. Must be comfortable operating with a high level of confidentiality.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field. MBA / masters preferred.
- 5+ years' experience in finance or accounting or equivalent education and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to use data and provide thoughtful analysis.
- High level of comfort interacting with various functional areas and levels of leadership.
- Strong analytical skills coupled with an understanding of business dynamics.
- Excellent communication, analytic, written, organizational, and problem ‑ solving skills.
- Ability to work / execute tight deadlines.
- Power Excel user, with advanced financial modeling and forecasting expertise.
- Strong PowerPoint skills, with Think Cell experience preferred.
- Self ‑ directed, self ‑ motivated, and demonstrated experience providing ideas and solutions to further business understanding.
- Strong grasp of corporate finance, budgeting and variance analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret complex data and deliver actionable insights.
- Strong attention to detail with demonstrated analytical experience and ability to adapt and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience building Power
BI dashboards and automating reports / workflows.
