Financial Analyst, Financial Manager
Private Advisor Group is looking for a talented, high-performing senior analyst to join our Corporate Finance team. You will be responsible for supporting all corporate finance functions, including FP&A, capital management, corporate M&A, advisor succession & liquidity programs, and strategic finance initiatives. Additionally, this position will be responsible for developing and maintaining driver-based models, supporting the development and implementation of financial policies and processes, and supporting communication with all existing and potential stakeholders.
Our ideal candidate has at least three years of experience that has advanced Excel, PowerPoint, financial management, and forecasting capabilities. This is a hands-on role that extends from strategic planning to advanced modeling and presentation development. This role will likely be supported by an intern / analyst and will work cross functionally with the accounting and operations groups. This position reports to the Director of Corporate Finance and is located in the Rock Hill, SC area.
- Evaluating and executing M&A and other investment opportunities,
- Analyzing valuation and returns,
- Supporting decision-making by providing stakeholders with timely, detailed, and meaningful insights and visibility on business performance,
- Developing financial reporting presentations,
- Supporting capital budgeting and allocation,
- Managing the revenue, expense, and cash budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning process,
- Supporting digital finance transformation by identifying areas for technology adoption and streamlining;
- Performing ad-hoc analysis where required to assist in management decision making.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or an MBA.
- Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Prior experience in an FP&A, corporate development, or other corporate finance role within a similar industry or corporate finance experience in a top-tier consulting firm or investment bank covering the same industry.
- Highly experienced working as a business partner in delivering better decision support and enabling strategic initiatives which help to improve the organization’s financial performance.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for financial modeling and data analytics.
- Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Net Suite.
- Excellent analytical skills as well as strong business acumen.
- Result oriented, organized, can prioritize effectively, and multi-task to deliver results in a fast-paced work environment.
Salary $80k-$100k depending on experience with opportunity for a bonus.
Work Location and hoursThis is a full-time hybrid position with a remote possibility.
