Snapshot of Your Day
We are looking for a Senior Performance Controller in Charlotte, NC to apply advanced specialized knowledge of financial reporting processes and procedures, as well as financial tools such as Power BI, Smart Report, and Jedox to provide a transparent and encompassing controlling process within the business unit.
How You’ll Make an Impact- Ensure all processes like forecasting, budgeting, month end closing, and performance review are managed effectively.
- Handle the planning process and consolidation at the segment level, including the monthly forecast and annual budget processes.
- Ensure process and content alignment with Campus Management and BU Management.
- Perform month end closing activities for the business unit and ensure that books and records are auditable and conform to IFRG procedures.
- Control all relevant business KPIs, including volume development, profit development, headcount, and FCF.
- Take corrective actions with the team to bring transparency and ensure a thorough understanding of KPIs and deviations.
- Manage programs or initiatives with the support of a cross-functional team and product lines.
- Work closely with the extended finance community and enhance and improve reporting processes and standard reports to achieve the highest data quality.
- Support the transformation into a digital controlling environment by implementing modern front-end tools, training employees, and promoting digitalization projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Financial Management, or a related field and 4 years of experience.
- Employer will accept 2 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
- Full term of experience must include: financial reporting processes, procedures, and internal financial tools (EPM+, SAC);
- Knowledge of FI/CO transactions and procedures in SAP ERP;
- Budget planning and forecasting; and
- MS office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
