Capital Markets – Corporate Finance Associate Mid-Level (2–5 Years)
A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a mid-level associate to join its expanding Capital Markets & Corporate Finance practice in Charlotte, NC. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated financing transactions within a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
The group advises financial institutions, trustees, issuers, and other market participants on a broad range of capital markets and structured finance transactions. Associates gain meaningful responsibility, hands‑on drafting experience, and direct exposure to complex deal structures.
Practice Focus- Capital markets transactions
- Corporate trust and trustee representations
- Structured finance matters
- Debt offerings and related financing structures
- Transaction execution and documentation
In this role, you will:
- Draft and review transaction documentation and ancillary agreements
- Support complex financing and structured transactions from inception through closing
Coordinate with clients, trustees, and transaction parties - Work closely with experienced finance partners in lean deal teams
- Develop deep technical knowledge within a nationally respected corporate finance platform
This position is ideal for an attorney who thrives in a detail‑oriented, fast‑paced environment and is looking to continue building sophisticated capital markets experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
Ideal Candidate Profile- 2–5 years of relevant capital markets or finance experience
- Exposure to structured finance or corporate trust matters preferred
- Strong academic credentials and drafting skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
- Admitted and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
