Essential Responsibilities- Collection and analysis of financial data deemed necessary to determine the general creditworthiness and merits of credit requests. This may include reviewing and spreading financial statements, tax returns, cash flow and projection analysis, risk rating, and analysis and review of personal financial statements and other applications that are presented.
- Ongoing credit monitoring to include completing credit reviews as needed (typically annually) along with reviewing upcoming loan maturities, borrowing base certificates, trend identification in credit quality/risk rating, compliance with loan covenants, etc.
- Coordinate collateral inspections, on site visits, reviews, evaluations, and appraisals for upcoming loan maturities, credit reviews, and new requests in accordance to internal policies and procedures.
- Assist with the preparation of loan packages according to internal policies and procedures and review for accuracy, completeness, and thoroughness prior to closing.
- Ensure loan agreements are complete and accurate according to policy.
- Assure timely loan closing and funding activities.
- Reviews loan documents and reports to ensure integrity of data input into the bank's core system.
- Services customers and potential customers by proactively promoting the bank to enhance relationships by identifying and recommending banking products and services to the assigned banker as appropriate to meet customer needs.
- Joint calls with customers and potential customers with the assigned bankers to promote the bank while further enhancing and soliciting additional banking relationships.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Obeys all applicable federal laws, rules, and regulations relating to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
- Performs the functions of other positions in the department when the need arises.

- Adheres to established bank policies and procedures.
- Demonstrates understanding of, and compliance with, governing regulations and laws.
- Represents the bank at community functions as needed.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Bachelor's degree with a focus in Finance.
- 3 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong analytical and financial analysis skills, thorough understanding of finance and accounting principles, demonstrated problem-solving skills, and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven effectiveness in a fast-paced, demanding, client-driven environment.
- Ideal candidate will possess both strategic thinking expertise and an ability to plan and execute tactical actions to implement strategic objectives.
- Ability to work across all ranks of the organization to drive consensus, with a primary focus on doing the right thing for the customer.
- Excellent communication and writing skills; ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management within the organization.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, including ability to pull together views for leadership reviews.
Licenses &
Certifications:
NMLS Registered (preferred)
- Express or exchange ideas by means of spoken word via email or verbally.
- Exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, use your arm and legs and sit most of the time.
- Have close visual acuity to perform activities such as analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and preparing documentation.
- Not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
