Position Overview:

As a Private Equity Associate - 1, you will play a pivotal role in our investment processes, from initial screening and due diligence to deal execution and portfolio management. This role demands a proactive approach, exceptional analytical skills, and a relentless curiosity about market trends and investment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify viable investment opportunities.
  • Perform detailed financial modeling and valuation assessments.
  • Participate in all aspects of deal execution, including due diligence, document preparation, and deal structuring.
  • Assist in the management of portfolio companies, contributing to strategic planning and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare and present investment overviews.
  • Engage with management teams of portfolio companies and external partners.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in private equity, investment banking or management consulting.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with management teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preference for previous experience in building products – transaction, prior-work, etc
  • A high degree of initiative and curiosity.
