Location: Charlotte, NC

Reports To: Chief Financial Officer

We are partnering with a publicly traded company in Charlotte that is seeking an Interim
Controller to lead the accounting function and oversee financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance activities.

This individual will work closely with executive leadership and play a key role in financial reporting, audit coordination, and strengthening accounting processes as the company continues to grow.

The position will manage the accounting team and oversee all core accounting operations, reporting, and compliance requirements.

• Lead all internal accounting activities including general ledger, financial reporting, and close processes
• Ensure financial reporting complies with U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX requirements
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls in collaboration with external auditors
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements
  , including comparative financial analysis
• Coordinate SEC reporting, quarterly reviews, and external audits
• Oversee cash management and cash flow forecasting
• Provide leadership support for annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting
• Lead, mentor, and develop members of the accounting team

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 10+ years of accounting experience
• 3–5 years managing accounting teams
• Public accounting experience required
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Experience with SEC reporting and SOX compliance
• Experience overseeing payroll, including U.S. multi-state preferred
• ERP experience required (
