Over the past several years, the company has completed numerous acquisitions annually and continues to scale rapidly. This position offers the opportunity to join a lean, highly visible Corporate Development team during a transformational period of growth.

Position Overview The Manager of Corporate Development will play a key role in supporting and executing the company’s M&A strategy. This individual will be heavily involved in evaluating acquisition opportunities, leading transaction execution efforts, coordinating due diligence activities, and partnering with leadership on strategic initiatives. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working in a high-volume deal environment and wants meaningful ownership throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities Lead execution efforts across multiple active acquisition opportunities simultaneously Build and maintain detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and investment scenarios Support all stages of the transaction process, including:
Initial target evaluation Financial analysis Due diligence Deal structuring Closing coordination Partner cross-functionally with finance, operations, legal, and executive leadership throughout transactions Coordinate diligence workflows with internal stakeholders and external advisors Analyze company financials, operational performance, and market trends to identify strategic opportunities and risks Assist with post-close integration planning and execution support Prepare presentations, investment materials, and strategic recommendations for leadership discussions Monitor industry activity, acquisition trends, and competitive dynamics Support additional strategic and operational initiatives tied to the company’s long-term growth strategy Ideal Candidate Background 7+ years of experience in:
Investment Banking Corporate Development Transaction Advisory / Deal Advisory Strategic Finance Private Equity-related environments Strong M&A transaction execution experience Advanced financial modeling and valuation capabilities Ability to manage multiple priorities and active work streams simultaneously Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with senior leadership High attention to detail, strong business judgment, and proactive mindset Prior experience in a PE-backed or acquisitive organization is highly preferred Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
