Movement Schools seeks a Chief Financial Officer (CFO to lead the financial strategy, systems, and infrastructure that will support sustainable growth, operational excellence, and long‑term financial health.

The CFO will serve as both a strategic leader and operational expert, overseeing financial planning, compliance, reporting, cash management, and multi‑entity fund management across a complex, multi‑state organization. This leader will build scalable financial systems, strengthen controls, and ensure regulatory compliance while supporting continued expansion.

• Drive Sustainable Growth: Lead financial planning for expansion, including new school launches, facility financing, and strategic investments.
• Strengthen Financial Planning & Forecasting: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term planning for an approximately $50M multi‑entity budget, providing strategic insights to the CEO and Board.
• Ensure Compliance & Reporting: Maintain strong financial controls, audit readiness, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Implement Procurement Systems: Finalize and operationalize procurement processes that support efficient, compliant purchasing across the network.
• Build a High‑Performing Finance Team: Develop an in‑house finance function spanning accounting, compliance, FP&A, and reporting to support a growing organization.
