Job Summary

The Senior Pricing Actuary will be responsible for modeling and pricing new NA FINSOL transactions. The position will work closely with the FINSOL Senior Structuring and Modeling actuary as well as the business development team on new opportunities.

About the Role
  • Model and price financial reinsurance solutions understanding the risk parameters
  • Build pricing models analyzing the risk and profitability of life reinsurance solutions
  • Organize, evaluate and analyze the data needed for transactions
  • Contribute to deal execution including responding to RFPs and assist in authoring internal approval memorandums
  • Assist in preparing and presenting internal and external presentations on life reinsurance topics as required
Qualifications Technical Skills
  • Proficient in building MS-Excel models taking projected balance sheet and income statements into transaction specific models
  • Actuarial Modeling experience (i.e. AXIS modeling)
  • Strong actuarial background working on US life insurance / reinsurance transactions; pricing, valuation or financial reporting
  • Knowledge of US statutory accounting standards and financial reporting is advantageous
  • Prior experience working on financial solution transactions would be advantageous
  • Actuarial Modeling experience (i.e. AXIS modeling) would be advantageous

Work Experience
  • Qualified life actuary (FSA, FIA or career ASA) with at least 5 years of relevant experience
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree
