Role

As a SENIOR RECONCILIATION SPECIALIST, reporting directly to the Reconciliation Manager, your key objectives will be to assist in defining and executing the reconciliation process, to collaborate with various teams to ensure accurate record-keeping, and to support the day-to-day operations of the reconciliation function.

Responsibilities

The essential responsibilities and duties for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Assist in developing and documenting the reconciliation process for daily cash movements initiated by the system and operations teams.
  • Implement controls to ensure accurate balancing and reconciliation of our system of record.
  • Assist in identifying requirements for new tools and utilities to enhance the efficiency of the reconciliation process.
  • Identifies root causes of discrepancies and implements effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with production support engineers to address issues discovered during the reconciliation process, such as trade rejects, dividends posting, settlements, and unit outages.
  • Assessing the potential risk associated with financial discrepancies and developing strategies to mitigate them.
Required Skills/Abilities
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Proficiency in relevant technical skills and software tools for reconciliation tasks.
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles, ledgers and reconciliation processes.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in Accounting Finance, or a related field.
  • Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in analytical roles or equivalent.
  • Experience in a senior or supervisory role is preferred.
  • Must be US Citizen, Permanent Resident, or eligible to work in the US permanently.
