Business Execution - (Commercial Loan Specialist)

This job is within Wholesale Operations and Syndicated Lending, working within the Member Services and Loan Trading teams. The daily duties can include a combination of the following: processing trades, communication with lenders/borrowers, processing advances, applying interest and principal payments, repricing of loans, reconciliation, calculating interest accruals, and reviewing reporting.

Goal is to do contract-to-hire

Location:

Charlotte, NC 28262. Hybrid, 3 days in office and 2 days remote. Fixed hours are 8:30 - 5:30 pm EST.

Training: 5 days on-site for training and then 4 days until the manager has completed knowledge transfer

Skills Overview:

• Manager is looking for a "go-getter" and self-motivated individual who is eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced lending environment.
• Need to be assertive at times and be able to catch on to things quickly in their space.
• Make sure they are prepared to come into the team, learn quickly and be able to be eager for more...not sitting back and always having to be directly.
• 4+ years or working experience relevant to the environment of loans, trading, syndication, underwriting, etc., but can also just include some relative schooling/education, example, math major, statistics, finance, marketing degrees, etc.
• Experience in the following is ideal, but also not required...loan processing related to syndicated lending, underwriting and comprehensive knowledge of conventional, commercial and government loans.

Self-motivated and driven

• Receive training and apply it to learn and pick things up quickly
• Attention to details (account numbers, rates, dates, etc.) before sending trades for approval
• Reviewing documentation
• Excel:
  Will handle reconciliations in Excel. Should be comfortable in spreadsheets or manual math:
  Interest accruals, fees, etc.
• Good with manual and formula based Math
• Loan IQ or similar tool is preferred but NOT required. (If candidate does have the tool experience, they should be able to speak to it)
• Similar tools to: AFS, ACDS, Flexcube, Flexpay
