Investment Banking Associate – Technology

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Investment Banking Associate to join our Technology team in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on M&A, debt, equity and equity‑linked transactions, including valuations, memorandums, analyses, due diligence, drafting, structuring and executing transactions, and client relationship management.

• Prepare valuations and write memorandums for company sale assignments and private placements.
• Conduct M&A analysis and participate in due diligence and drafting sessions for public offerings.
• Structure and execute transactions and serve as backup for relationships with key clients.
• Act as the primary contact for selected clients and begin to assume new business responsibilities.

• 1–2 years of Investment Banking experience at the associate level or equivalent work experience.
• Prior work experience involving financial analysis or transaction execution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop rapport with existing and potential clients.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Highly motivated team player with the ability to learn in a fast‑paced, challenging environment.
• Degree in finance, business, management or related field.

The anticipated starting salary range is $175,000 - $200,000 per year, dependent on experience, location and other factors. The position is eligible for annual incentive compensation and the total compensation will be competitive with the market.
