Overview
As a Sr Payroll Financial Analyst at Honeywell Technologies, you will analyze and manage global payroll financial data to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in payroll postings to the General Ledger. You will collaborate with payroll and finance teams to provide financial analysis, support payroll budgeting and forecasting, and drive process improvements that enhance payroll financial management. You will report directly to the VP, Payroll and work on a Hybrid schedule.
You will impact the financial integrity of payroll processes, ensure timely and accurate payroll financial reporting, and contribute to the overall financial health of the company.
ResponsibilitiesPartner with Data Analytics, Controllership and Business Finance Teams on inquiries, trends, and discrepancies.
Own the payroll wage code mapping process with Controllership and Business Finance Teams.
Support payroll budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities.
Collaborate with payroll and finance teams to ensure compliance with payroll financial policies and regulations.
Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance payroll financial management efficiency.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support payroll decision-making and strategic planning.
Communicate payroll and regulation changes to Controllership that may impact financial and general ledger postings.
6+ years of relevant experience in payroll financial analysis or related finance roles.
Strong knowledge of payroll processes, financial analysis, and compliance requirements.
Experience with payroll and financial software systems.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and other HR systems or technologies (Oracle and ADP experience a plus).
Excellent communication skills at all levels in the organization.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive process improvements.
Knowledge of payroll systems and financial reporting tools.
Certification such as Certified Payroll Professional (CPP).
