Assist members in a professional, friendly and courteous manner while accurately processing transactions involving the receipt and disbursement of funds, both cash and checks, resulting in proper daily balancing. Consult with members to identify and cross-offer products and services that meet the members' financial needs.
Essential Functions- Represent Carolinas Telco FCU’s in a courteous and professional manner and ensure CTFCU reputation is maintained and projected
- Exhibit the core values of CTFCU in interactions with members and colleagues.
- Accurately process deposits, loan payments; disburse cash or check withdrawals in person or received by mail in compliance with credit union policy and federal regulations.
- Detect and resolve discrepancies promptly. Verify transactions. Monitor deposit amounts, and examine documents for endorsement and negotiability.
- Actively cross-sell Credit Union products and services.
- Comply with all federal, state, and organizational policies, procedures, and processes, including (but not limited to) the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).
- Keep manager informed of area activities and any significant problems and assist area personnel as required.
- Complete required reports and records accurately and promptly.
- Contribute to the overall branch performance.
- Adhere to the Credit Union's core values in carrying out Carolinas Telco’s mission and vision.
- Assist with additional tasks and duties assigned.
- Travel to support other locations may be required.
- Efficiently, effectively, and accurately perform teller functions in accordance with established policies, standards, and security procedures.
- Strive to exceed monthly goals and contribute to the overall branch performance.
- Exhibit an ongoing commitment to the enactment of organizational core values.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with others; resolve members' problems or questions courteously and promptly.
- Appropriately inform management of area activities.
- Ensure required reports and records are accurate, complete, and timely.
- Previous customer service and cash handling experience.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving results.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to excel in a Sales and Service Team environment.
