Credit Sights is currently seeking an Analyst to join the Global Strategy team based out of Charlotte

The candidate will be responsible for all tasks related to supporting the US strategy coverage effort, including macroeconomic analysis, monitoring credit fundamentals, maintaining databases using public and proprietary data, canvassing multiple news sources for relevant stories and information, interpreting market technicals, relative value analysis across asset classes, writing research reports (thematic research and regular reports), preparing slide decks, and participating in meetings with an array of client types.

Applicants must possess strong numeracy, problem‑solving, and writing skills, have demonstrated interest in the capital markets and comfort using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or equivalent) to accelerate, optimize, or automate workflows.

You'll Make an Impact
  • Contribute to data analysis and writing of research reports.
  • Build, update, and maintain models and databases.
  • Interpret credit market data for portfolio recommendations.
  • Monitor debt capital market conditions across US investment grade, high yield, and broadly syndicated loans.
  • Prepare presentation materials for clients and participate in client meetings.
You May be a Good Fit if
  • Educated to a bachelor's degree level or equivalent.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Comfort using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of financial markets and experience analyzing capital markets.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, with a methodical approach to work and excellent attention to detail.
What Would Make You Stand Out
  • 1‑3 years of prior experience in a credit research, economics, investment banking, or debt capital markets role.
  • CFA charter holder or demonstrated progress toward attaining a CFA charter.
  • Degrees in STEM, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business.
  • Proficiency in Bloomberg and Fact Set.
  • Hands‑on Claude/GPT, Bloomberg API/BQL, and/or Python experience.
  • A passion for financial markets.
  • Capable of producing high‑quality outputs under pressure and in a timely manner.
  • A team player spirit and an enthusiasm for working collaboratively.
